Our Mission
Shore Animal Volunteer Enterprise (S.A.V.E.) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3)
non-profit animal welfare organization established in 2002. We are
dedicated to providing healthier lives for our outdoor community
cats while humanely reducing the population through an
effective spay and neuter program.
Our Goal
S.A.V.E. has seen the immense need for low cost spay/neuter programs
for community, feral, and stray cats in the Toms River area and some of
our surrounding local communities for many years. Administrations in
several towns have refused to acknowledge the need for these
programs, or to listen to the caring people who are helping these
precious lives. We have seen, we have listened, and we are here with a
very low cost spay and neuter program to help make a difference.
Spay/Neuter Assistance
We have partnered with local veterinarians for a low cost spay/neuter
program for community cats in the Toms River area, as well as other local
towns who do not have an active TNR program. For $25 fee per cat
(paid to S.A.V.E.), each cat will be altered and receive a rabies vaccination,
as well as an ear clip to identify their status as being a TNR.

Open Tuesday through Saturday
Store Hours: 11 am-4 pm
Donation Hours: 12 pm - 3 pm
We welcome your new and very gently used donations
that are in sellable condition. Please do not leave
donated items outside of the Thrift Shop.
